We used to gather by the fireside with our sisters in the community. However, over the years, our way of life has shifted towards a more solitary existence. Now, we often need to seek out spaces where we can come together and experience love and connection among women without judgment or competition.
True sisterhood empowers us to share both the light and dark aspects of our lives. It enables us to recognise and appreciate the best parts of ourselves through the eyes of another woman. The validation and affirmation we receive from truly being seen by one another are what make sisterhood incredibly powerful and meaningful, where deep healing can take place.
I created 'Where Women Gather' to establish a warm and welcoming space for women to connect, share, and grow together. In this special circle, you'll experience the incredible power of female connection. We build trust and embrace the healing energy of Mama Cacao, Mother Earth, and each other.
Suppose you're considering exploring something different and deepening your connection to spirit. For over four years, women have come together at Ellasfield in the West Sussex countryside—some have dipped in and out, while others have remained by my side in circle throughout the entire journey. "The full moon circles have become an important and beloved part of each month for me. An opportunity to check in on how I'm doing and a moment to just 'be'.
I knew it was something I really wanted to do, but I was quite nervous to start with. By the end of the first circle my nerves were thoroughly put at ease. This beautiful space is for all of us in the circle to contribute whatever words or feelings come up in that moment, with absolutely no pressure to speak at all, just be present.
The feeling of being completely listened to and heard, and in turn listening to each other, without opinion, interruption or input, is something I have never really experienced before. We truly hold the space for each other and feel held by the gentle energy of the circle.
The comforting nourishment of the Cacao, beautiful music and movements enrich the whole experience even more. I often leave the circle floating out the door at the end of the evening!
